Lyon : Manifestation de soutien aux militants contre Green Hill

Le 28 avril dernier, une manifestation avait lieu en Italie contre l’élevage « Green Hill ». Durant cet événement, quelques militants italiens ont pu pénétrer à l’intérieur de l’élevage. Dans leur élan, ils ont libérés quelques chiens beagles. Rapidement identifiés par la police, les militants ont été arrêtés, puis au bout de 48 heures libérés, mais en attente d’un procès.
A partir de cet évènement l’existence de cet élevage a fait le tour de l’Italie et du monde !

Dopo più di due anni di azioni, l’allevamento è stato messo sotto sequestro nell’attesa che il giudice prenda una decisione
Durante questa operazione 100 cadaveri di cani sono stati scoperti in un congelatore e altri 400 erano detenuti senza certificazioni identificative. purtroppo questa lotta non è finita! i cani di Green Hil .
Sono ormai tutti liberati ma ancora non sappiamo se l’allevamento chiuderà definitivamente i battenti (si attende la decisione del giudice). La direttrice dii questo lager è Ghislaine Rondot, anche responsabile della
Marshall Europa i cui uffici si trovano a Lione .
Come già saprete, questa società si è specializzata nell’allevamento di animali (cani, furetti, maialini nani) destinati ai laboratori di vivisezione. Abbiamo deciso di non abbassare la guardia, e di organizzare un
presidio a Lione con lo scopo di mantenere alta la pressione finché questo lager non chiuda per sempre e anche per attirare l’attenzione sulla responsabile di questo allevamento.
Sabato 6 ottobre alle 14.30 organizzeremo con l’associazione « Respect Animal » un presidio simbolico davanti alla Marshall. sia chiaro che gli uffici saranno chiusi e in seguito ci sposteremo verso il centro di Lione.

On april 28th, 2012, a march was held in Italy against the Green Hill breeding station. During this event, a few italian activists were able to get into the facility. As they were proceeding into the building, they managed to free a few beagles. Quickly identified by the police, the activists were arrested and then released after 48h. They are now awaiting trial.
This protest highlighted the Green Hill breeding program not only around Italy but all over the world !

After more than two years of actions , the facility has been sequestered awaiting for a decision of justice. During this operation, 100 corpses of dogs were found in a freezer and 400 dogs were held without proper identification.
Unfortunately, the fight isn’t over !
All the Green Hill dogs are now free but we still don’t know if the facility will permanently close its doors (we’re waiting for the adjudication)
The director of the camp is Ghislaine Rondot, also manager of the Marshall Bioresources Europe company located in the second arrondissement of Lyon.
As you may know, this company is specialized in the breeding of animals (dogs, ferrets, mini pigs) destined to vivisection laboratories.
As a consequence, we have decided not to lower our guard and set up a meeting in Lyon in order to keep the pressure on until this facility shuts its doors for good and also in order to draw the attention upon the person in charge of this camp.
On saturday october 6th at 2h30pm we will organize with the association « Respect Animal » a symbolic meeting in front of the Marshall building.
Of course, as the office will be closed we will then move forward to Lyon downtown.
We will let you know about the details of this march later/subsequently.
